Young Families

Temple Shalom has programs designed specifically for families with young children (ages 0-6). Programs are designed for families to enjoy together and are open to anyone seeking a connection to a Jewish community or Jewish experience, from monthly Tot Shabbat services to story times and special holiday programs, families meet other families, build community, and learn about Judaism together. Most of our programs are free of charge, and temple membership is not required.

Check out our next program for young families on our calendar page!

To make it easier for you to attend services with your young children, Temple Shalom has a fully stocked playroom near the sanctuary, with toys and a wide variety of picture books. You are welcome to play there with your children when they get restless during the service.

Enjoy fun and engaging stories with Jewish themes running through them and age appropriate crafts. Story time is geared towards kids ages 0-6, but everyone is invited to listen in!

First Sunday of the month from 11:00-11:45 am.

Drop-ins are always welcome, but if you know you are coming, please RSVP a few days before so can be sure to have the right amount of craft supplies!
